Who is HHD Kids for?
HHD Kids is for children who want to move, create, explore and have fun, whether they are completely new to dance or already discovering that dance is something they love.
Some children arrive full of confidence. Others need time to find their voice. Some love performing; others prefer creating quietly at first.

Exploring Creativity & Contemporary Dance
CRE:8 is where children begin to discover the creative possibilities of dance.
Through imaginative movement, contemporary dance and creative exploration, children develop their confidence, individuality and understanding of themselves as young dancers.
CRE:8 encourages children to explore ideas, make choices and develop their own creative voice while building strong foundations in movement, musicality and performance.
A space where creativity is nurtured, individuality is celebrated and every child is encouraged to explore what dance can become.

KIDS STREET DANCE
Fun. Creative. Energetic.
Street Dance is a high-energy class where children develop rhythm, musicality, confidence and performance skills through exciting and creative movement.
Designed for boys and girls aged 6+, classes introduce children to the foundations of street dance while encouraging individuality, expression and enjoyment.
Whether children are completely new to dance or already love performing, they develop coordination, confidence and the freedom to express themselves through movement.
A place where children can learn, perform, create and have fun.
Being: Finding confidence to express myself and enjoy moving.
Belonging: Being part of a positive, energetic team.

For boys who need to dance.
STREET DANCE 4BOYS
Street Dance 4Boys has been created for boys who want to move, create, perform and discover the confidence that dance can bring.
Using street dance as the starting point, this class provides a positive and welcoming environment where boys can explore movement in a way that feels exciting, physical and relevant to them. For boys 6+, who have little/no previous experince
Through energetic classes, creativity and teamwork, dancers develop coordination, confidence, musicality and self-expression.
A place where boys can discover that dance is not something they have to fit into — it is something they can make their own.
Being: Feeling comfortable being myself and discovering my own style.
Belonging: Training alongside other boys who share the same experience.
Becoming: Building confidence, creativity and dance skills.

STREET DANCE 4BOYS 2
Develop. Create. Perform.
Street Dance 4Boys 2 is designed for boys who have developed their confidence and want to progress their street dance skills further.
Building on foundations of movement, rhythm and performance, dancers explore more challenging choreography, creativity and individual expression.
Through focused training and creative opportunities, dancers develop stronger technique, musicality, performance quality and confidence as young artists.
A pathway for boys who have discovered their love of dance and are ready to keep developing. For boys who have previous experience.
Being: Developing my identity and confidence as a dancer.
Belonging: Growing alongside others who share my commitment.
Becoming: Challenging myself and progressing towards my next step.

Move With it!
New HHD Boys Movement Programme Movement. Creativity. Confidence.
A place for boys to move, create and express themselves without needing to fit a stereotype.
Starting with movement and building towards something bigger, Move With It is about helping boys discover confidence, creativity and their own relationship with dance.
The world has moved. It is time to move with it.
This will start initially as part of HHD Xtra, with intentions of forming a new body’s company from January 2027…

Alongside our regular weekly Kids classes, HHD Xtra provides additional opportunities to experience more — from holiday activities and special classes to workshops, events and performances.
These are open to all, you dont need to be a regular HHD family member to join in.

What should I wear?
For most HHD classes, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is all you need. Specific requirements, where relevant, will be included with the individual class information
Can I try a class?
Yes. We want people to feel comfortable about trying HHD before committing. Booking information for each class will explain the best way to come along for the first time.
What happens if I’ve never danced before?
That’s absolutely fine. Classes are clearly described so you can find the right starting point, and our teachers are experienced in welcoming people with different levels of experience.
What if I’m already experienced?
There are opportunities across HHD for people who want to continue developing. Check the individual class descriptions to find the level and type of training that best matches your experience.
